Wasn't too late mate lol. Once I had a few coats of paint on we just **** the door and left it to dry. About 12 I think.

Awesome work on the engine bay mate. Mine needs painting....;).

Nice to know somewhere that could do my suspension components to. Great progress mate.
 
Totally missed this! Took me a while to realise who it was too haha. Awesome work mate!

Need to catch up somepoint soon! I've dropped my hours at work now so only working Saturday. Will get a meet or something organised when I've finished up with uni before I go down to JLR :)

It's me mate lol... Why I've not been into your work recently been at the garage constantly! Deffo be good to get a catch up or a meet at some point before you head south bud. When do you go?
 
Thanks for the offer bud. Going to get a rattle can to do the wee bits and bobs though and get the rest done next year in a body shop I think.

Another OT meet I think. Or even a wee drive somewhere is in order I think

Yeah dunno why I never clicked haha! Will be worth it when it's all done :) My accomodation's booked for the 20th of June so I plan on driving down then I think!
 
I'm hoping to have the car built by then so hopefully you can see it before you go.

Update... got the rest of the parts back from the powder coaters, again really happy with how it's turned out. Great. So started to put the subframe back together and discovered one of the wishbones was bent. Not so great. Drove from edinburgh to perth at 11pm last night and got a few bits from Craig at Unit 6 spares. Top guy!

So the parts looked good...





 
Decided I was going to lose the power steering and found a diy guide on here that was really good so went for that...
