Haha it takes me 20 minutes to carry the pressure washer/hose/cleaning gear out to the front of the house so by that point its never going to be a quick wash!

I hate that part :p Setting up the pressure washer, hose, and power source. Using the products is the fun part.

Took the day off uni work to sort a few issues, including putting the passenger window back on the sliders, locating a knocking noise on the front left corner and seeing if I could see what was causing my steering wheel to judder at high speed braking even though the pedal felt fine.

Day started off like this:

Did a bit of 3 wheeling:

Ended like this:

Didn't manage to get any of the original jobs done.

I hate cars.

Yeah had it on a mates 207 a few years back, snapped a wheel stud as we were taking the wheels off to fit new springs, spent the rest of the day drilling the old stud out!

Thanks man, all going well the bits should be here tomorrow to fix it and then I'll drop them off to a mates to get him to fit a new bearing and studs for me :) Hopefully have the car on the road by the weekend!

Really should've updated this last week!

Timeline of events was as follows:

Saturday 7th: break stud and go into bitch fit and contemplate burning the car to the ground.
Sunday 8th: order new studs and wheel bearing
Monday 9th: get the peasant wagon (bus) to uni in the morning and get the piss ripped out of me by all my mates
Wednesday 11th: bearing and studs arrive, drove these off along with my spare hub to @Steve M for him to press them in as well as fit a new ball joint so the whole hubs fresh
Friday 13th: got a text off Steve at 5pm that the hubs ready, pick it up, go out for dinner with the parents, get home about 8ish and crack on with fitting the hub in the dark

CAR FIXED.

I ended up spamming people on snapchat, so here's some of the screenshots I got haha

And my car at work the morning after I got the fresh hub on, this was my real deadline because it takes ages to get public transport there.

And my mate got this snapchat the other day at uni haha

Just been driving it for the past week and all's been fine. Still got that knocking and shuddering. I think I've managed to warp the discs so I'm going to replace them and go from there. The knock sounds like a droplink but they're new, so that's confusing me a bit. I'll disconnect the droplinks to see if I can narrow down the source of the noise. It's just trying to find time which is the issue.

Finally, a MASSIVE thanks to @Steve M for helping me get the car back on the road by sorting out the spare hub for me and for convincing me not to burn the car to a crisp on that Saturday. Also a huge thanks to my mates Greg and Joe who ferried me around that week, it takes me 2 hours each way to get a bus to uni, but thanks to them I only had to do that once!

And I have no idea why that last pics upside down, it's the right way round on photobucket haha

This is not revision....

Keep the faith though pal, not much more left to break on the car now haha.
