My EK9 from Belgium - (Updated p4)

Yes, we were those "Belgian guys" :))
We came with his EK9 and a black EG9.
Japfest was f-*/cking great!!
We also met some of you guys at the Ring. When Duncan, Steven, Tim,... went to there in april

Think I met one of you at Spa on Monday?

 love the DEFI DIN + Pioneer MVH-8200 headunit, looks like a very clean import! where did you buy the mugen twinloop from? :nice:

Well well, it’s been a while since I last updated this topic.
I have not been so active on the forum lately, cause life has just been so ‘active’.
A lot has changed since my last post:

travelled the world...
Found myself an American girl...
Brought her over to Belgium...
Moved to an appartment...
Got married last summer...
Moved into a house...
And had a beautiful baby boy in January…

Heck! I’ve even sold my EK9! :)
Without a doubt the best and most enjoyable car I’ve ever owned.
But there’s a time for everything, so after a whole lot of doubting, decided to sell it anyway.
The new owner is a definite Honda enthusiast like me, and is taking extreme good care of it, so that makes me happy.

So, wife and a baby —> time for a 4-door car!! :)
I’ve always liked a Honda Jazz, and the totally different look the car can get with the right set of aftermarket parts.
So, a couple months ago, I bought myself a 2005 GD1 Jazz Sport!

Here are a few photo’s:

This is how I bought it:

I didn’t like the side- and bumper protectors at all, so they had to come off.
They’re pretty easy to remove. A blow dryer, and some patience did the trick:

I was afraid of color fading, since the car’s 10 years old, but I guess Storm silver is a pretty stable color.
NO color fading at all.
(so if anyone ever doubts to remove side protectors like this: no worries!!)
The only thing you notice is the “edges” of the protector strips. The dust that gets caught on the edges grinds away the clearcoat a little bit.
So I gave the car a good polish with cutting compound and stuff, and it all came out alright!
No trace of the side protectors whatsoever!

Also found myself a set of white MUGEN MF10L wheels!!
I really like the look of these wheels on a Jazz.
They’re pretty rare though. Found this pair in New Zealand!!!!!
The seller had just refurbished them, so they look brand new!

I also lowered the car with an Eibach PRO kit (-30 mm).

Nice! I had so much trouble sourcing JDM parts for my Jazz sport. I was looking for the mugen or modulo front lip and a vti-s spoiler, along with genuine mugen window visors... never managed to get any of the parts. Yours looks good on the new wheeels!

Might be able to help you out with sourcing your parts.
There's a shop in Belgium that can order the Mugen window visors:
http://www.avb-sports.be/honda/jazz/2002-2007/bodycomponents/visors/15338/

They also have a Mugen lip available:
http://www.avb-sports.be/honda/jazz/2002-2007/bodycomponents/frontlip/18736/
Don't know if that's the one you want, since there are different Mugen lip types.

There's also another website that has a lot of nice JDM stuff:
https://www.japanparts.com/parts/category.php?dl=3&cm=54
They have all the Mugen lips available, and also the window visors.

About the Vti-s spoiler:
That's an OEM Honda lip, I believe right?
I used to work for Honda, and could look up the OEM partnr.
Just send me a picture, and I'll see what I can do

I'm desperately looking for the Modulo type WW front lip.
They're all sold out in Japan, and man, they are extremely hard to find on the 2nd hand market!

If anyone knows where I could get this, please let me know!!!! :)

i love my little jazz, great on fuel and the inside with the rear seats folded down is huge.

and I have imported a modulo lip kit for it too.

Jazz/Fit are awesome little cars!
Your's looks so clean! And it looks awesome!

Sadly, here in Portugal we can only use 185/50R15.. bah!

Just a tip, search for the OEM LED rear lights. Makes the car look a lot younger:

You know, I've never been a fan of the LED rear lights. Not for any car actually.
I quite like the OEM Jazz rear lights :)

I read your DIY online about how you changed your FIT logo in the back.
You have a very clean looking car! And I love the FIT logo.
Might get one myself one day :)

Jazz/Fit cars are indeed AWESOME!
