Good luck and take care on the track. If you think the car is good on the road just wait till it is on the track
.
Just remember if you go into a corner fast you are already committed dont loose you nerve and lift off the power as the back WILL overtake the front. Just keep the power on and it will pull you through. This can be a very fun feature of the ek9 as you can actually drift them
.
All the best, Duncan
Hey Dunc, nice reply!! How are things going with you?
To be honest, I've kinda noticed too, that an EK9 tends to "oversteer" when taking corners fast.
Didn't have the back "next to me" yet
, but when steering fast into a corner, I've definitely felt several times that the rear follows pretty quickly!
So what do you do then, when you notice that feeling? Do you just push the throttle a little more like you said, and "front wheel drift" (understeer) the corner out? Or also counter steer a little bit?
I'm really curious about the track day. I'm hoping to get to know the reactions of my 9 much better, and get a better feeling of it's limits, and knowing well when it's too much.
The track day includes some theoretical lessons, and then some practice laps with an intstructor sitting in the passenger seat. This way, he can teach you how to take corners better, when to push harder/softer, when you're reaching the limits,...
Then after that, you get some free driving laps (on your own)
Once I've done this, I'm planning on taking the EK9 out to the track a few times more, we'll see how things go then.
But in the mean time, if you can give some driving tips... They're always very welcome!! Thanx mate!

Acutally, "type-r dunc" (posted here above) is the man behind it. If you need advice on importing an EK9, send him a message. He will help you out, I'm sure of that! Good Luck!
