first gym session done with supplements and all i can say is WOW! had the energy to do so much more and finally got the energy levels to get me where my muscles are tired before im out of puff! :nice: Bif wary though as i took the minimum dosage at the maximum dilation and the effect was still huge! :nerv:
 
Im trying a new regime to get me in order for the Edinburgh marathon next month.. Only done 1/2's before - usual times were 1:21-1:26.

Lots of crossfit sessions (amazing core work) with kettle bells (14-16 Kgs), starting with the 16s and keeping them as long as you possibly can without sacrificing form. Then on rest periods - 30-45m sprints/resistance running.

Usually in mornings/evenings 10miles in just over the hour mark. Would be nice to push for a 2:30-2:45. Probably a bit optimistic though.

got some multi-vitamins and tablets to help my joints(glucosamine iirc), some whey protein to take after my gym ses. Jack3d to take 45mins before (took 1 scoop to 300ml of water and the effect it gave was huge so keeping this doesage small!) and some xtend to take during and after the gym to help my body recover. Thing is i have quite a manual intensive job (lifting manhole covers and up and down telegraph poles) so i work a bit of everything at any given gym session as if i did a legs session one day and a upper body session another day i wouldnt be able to do my job in the days inbetween! :nono:
 
Am not convinced on the creatine loading phase but then again have been taking it for years so you prob only need to load the first time, make sure you drink a **** load of water though as you will get a headache from the water retention. Managed 18 wide grip pull ups on Friday after 4 sets on deadlift which I was quite pleased with, will crack the 20 mark though!

Use Kre-Alkalyn. It's a buffered form of creatine. There is no need for loading and there are no nasty side effects like bloating and water retention. I've put on 10 kg of mass since using. Not to mention I eat 1 cow a day too. =)

I need to get more protein and i've been told since i want to gain muscle i need creatine not just whey protein ?

has anyone ever used either one ? can you recommend me which one is the best for gaining weight and muscle ?

Took part in the belfast relay marathon today! only started running for it a week ago and managed my stint in 35 mins! team came in under 4 hours too, well happy!
 
Started doing hanging leg lifts! I swear to god the first time i done them i couldn't move for the next two days! I'm still bloody 16 stone too! AAGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

Started weights and sit ups again yesterday and i cant bloody move now, sore as **** :p
 
Hanging leg lifts are good hurt after but well worth it. Hack squat leg machine 8 plates of 20kg and got 12 full reps last Sunday, beat my pb and my legs are growing well now :)

As for creatine Kre-Alkalyn tablets, mono hydrate or Ethyl Ester are the best just drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Sweet man! forgot your work had that gym! glad to hear your getting back into man you dieting for anything in particular? i.e loose weight, bulk up or just general health/save money :p oh 3 days am proud boss :D

hahaha yeah 3 days and going strong, na was just lying on the couch watching **** tv and thought ah fcuk it far too lazy these days need to get myself back in shape.

At 1st was just wanting to tone up etc but now i'm thinking go hard and bulk up.
 
Anybody have one of those days where you can do absolutely fooking nothing in the gym! I was completely useless this evening could barely do anything that i normally do in a session! :(

Ye i was the same yesterday just couldn't get motivated :angry2: To be fair if i don't feel 100% up for the gym i just don't bother going up. Don't see the point in half arseing it.
 
Started doing my Daily photos to see how im getting on , was working out at home for about 1-2 months now , joining the gym and going on lean gain :nice: id post up the transformation when i reach my goal of maybe 90 kilos , im on 80kg now btw:secret:

i love the feeling after the gym and in the morning , feel so healthy :clap::clap::nice: well done everyone :)
 
I Love the feeling after the gym with all the endorphins....although I don't like the feeling the next morning because if I've hit it really hard my movement is limited on the muscles I trained the night before.

Away to start a cutting diet for 12-16 weeks to get the body fat % down then I'll start a bulking diet on the right foot without the crap I'm used to eating
