Can any of you guys recommend the best protein and other needed supplements for me ?

just not long started going to the gym, i'm wanting to build more muscle but not body-building if you know what i mean, also wanting to get some sick abs for the ladys !!! haha
 
Are all these supplements not "cheating"? Are they necessary?

Dont see how it could be cheating... As the supplements are only their to help your body repair its muscles and give you boost for the gym... End of the day if you dont put the effort into training and eating they wont do much.

Not necessary no, but you do get more benefit and gains from using them. Could get the same gains from eating chicken for example but you'd have the extra calories to put up with too.

It's very hard to put on muscle and lose fat at the same time. I try and bulk up with heavier weights over the winter and 'cut' on the run up to summer with more cv and lighter weight.
As for supplements a decent whey protein for recovery and also look at stuff like creatine and starting to take multi vitamins.
When it comes to losing weight its roughly 20% gym and 80% diet for me.

yeah thanks mate :)...i aint needing to loose weight as I'm skinny! haha

Thats pricey.. £25 over here.. Yea good stuff while it lasts, i find after being on it for a week or two you dont get much hit of it, its like ur body can tolerate it.

If you do the loading dose that some recommend then the first week is expansive as you go through a months supply in seven days. As for multi vitamins I just buy tescos as its pretty cheap and loads of it.

I'm the same that's why I cycle off my supplements, have one week off everything every six weeks. When I start using them again I get that instant kick back.

right guys how the hell are you meant to drink 4-6 litres of water a day! I forced myself to drink just over a litre today and it was tough going. i'll be pisssing like a race horse if i drink anymore! lol

I have been going to Gym from few days... How can I fit stomach..?? give me some suggestions...

I'd recommend hanging leg raises preferably keeping your legs dead straight I used to hold a small dumbell between my feet too but havent trained abs in years, 6 pack all year round ftw! :) Diet is by far the most important thing, I'm on 4500 calories just to maintain my 11.5st!
 
best thing I have learnt recently is that eating fat, doesn't make you fat, its carbs that do it :(

When it comes to supplements, the only real thing you can't get from your diet is creatine. Sure you get some in your meats, but to get 3-5g a day you need to eat an entire cow. Whey protein is useful for the dudes that stuggle to get enough protein in your diet. and remember you cant burn just the fat on a certain part of your body, it either increases all over or decreases all over, it isn't localised.
