Been going good not done much work on it lately as me and the mrs just had our first kid so lifes been busy. Bought a few shiny bits and my mate is starting to copy strut braces for civics and is using the ek9 as a template.

@Jordan101 def up for a photoshoot when yours is done, hopefully have my oem wheels painted and back on soon.

@civicfacelift the silver tape is heat reflective tape my mate had left over from his rally car. Never noticed a difference but every bit helps keeping the intake cold.
 
does this have a 2.2 diesel in it now mate? is this one thats on sale on gumtree? come on we want updates????!!!!!! :)

few updates.
recently bought a mfactory short shifter from matt-o

gears now feel alot more precise, not felt much difference with clutch pedal though. when i changed the fluid it was pretty filthy.

next up is new n/s/r hub, rear pads and discs. just got my rocker cover back from my mate with extra breathers welded on. no real reason for it just looks the business, going to respray it oem red as well to brighten up the engine bay.
 
A silver EK9 is indeed very rare. Also in the Netherlands, there is no single silver Ek9. According to my information only 4 whites, 1 yellow and 1 black.

Does that M-factory Shifter come with any spacers or just bolt in like that??

It came withthe one spacer, but I fitted a couple of washers in as well otherwise the gear linkage rubs on the gear lever.
 
i love the silver 9's always wanted one very nice indeed!!! someone poured paint stripper on my mates ek9 two days ago mine was parked beside it untouched... weird
 
yup this is a real clean car . hours of work gone into the bay . good to meet you man .
 
some small but important updates.
back brakes have been making a horrible noise after a fast drive

ebc yellowstuff pads and ebc discs giving these a shot again, had problems with the redstuff ones last time i tried ebc.

new shiny rear lower brace, made by my mate out of stainless. really good fit considering it was measured up next to a main road in the dark.

next up is wiretuck, re do exhaust wrap, re do baffled sump and fit take-off for oil temp gauge. fit oil pressure gauge and wideband bits then off to get it mapped.
probably strip out interior to give car a fresh coat of paint inside

dundee will be touch and go mate,driving up from blackpool on the saturday so hope to make it in time
 
Might be two more lower tie bar braces getting made.
