Currently running a stock s80 gear box but yeah 1,2,3 all feel very close. Goig back to an s4c next week though think I'll stick with the 4.4 in it.

bought myself a s4c gearbox off iceman with the intention of fitting my 4.7 final drive and new bearings in the box. after stripping the s80 down i found a small crack on the crown gear so decided to just re build the s4c with new bearings.
got most of the bearings and synchros off my mate who gave up rebuilding his gearbox so only had to buy the final drive/diff bolts from honda.

if anyone is contemplating splitting their own gearbox apart, all goes well until you have to get the snap ring to seat again. caused me no end of problems to get it back on the bearing

found a set of these at work, off a land rover thinking of getting some brackets made up to fit my car.

next to do is fit my teg radiator and finally get round to re doing the under seal before winter sets in

ha ha think i'm keeping it for just a bit longer, not long finished doing the float conversion to the forks, massive difference

got busy this week, fitted the teg radiator and seat rails, painted alloys black and undersealed the car ready for winter and the mot next week

also gave the car a good polish/wax with meguiars

X2 didnt know there was anyone else in scotland with a silver 9 will need to fire through when mine is done and get a few snaps with the 2 cars if ur up for it mate

i prefered it with white wheels tbh, invest in some meg's tyre shine too hehe. whats with the silver tape on your airbox?
