We'll just have to see. Haha. A cheap enough mod doing the carpets really, so that could be one getting done sooner rather than later. :))

Ach why not, eh? I would like mine to look okay for the Scottish Modified Car Show but I can't see that happening. Haha.

Well good luck with this project like, it'll be interesting to see two cars that started almost identical change over time. :)

Yeah it's more time consuming than anything really. :)

Ahaha, yeah I've always got ambition to make it better, probably to the extreme though. :))

Thank you, same with yours will be interest to see how same or different our cars turn out, may we can take guidance from each others car. :nice:

Yep, And if you ever do drag times, or dyno runs (like I'm planning to eventually, just out of interest) pop numbers up and see what the different mods have done. :drive: :p

I'd hope to do a dyno run at some point, we've got a rolling road at college, will be interesting to see what it makes compared to the motorsport cars they use. :D

Dunno about drag times though, would have to go to Santa pod for sure. :drive:

So on Monday I received my Eibach Springs, but was in college till Wednesday.

So as today was a Thursday and I don't have college for another two weeks now I started doing the springs, fronts took probably about 2 hours. Getting them out was the easiest part, getting the springs off was boring and tiresome (Ruddy spanner compressors), I much prefer the hydraulic compressors at college takes the best part of 20 seconds and it's all compressed and done. So went all back together rather quick as well, made sure every thing was FT (****ing tight) then took it for a test drive down my lovely country roads, was all dandy. Measured up from center of axle to top of arch and I've dropped about 38mm give or take.

So started on the rear, by god that was a task and a half, many hours later I've managed to get one side built up again, but the other side was a disaster, the bolt decided to push out the bush sleeve so made a right cock up, in the end I've ended up with a snapped bolt and a buggered bush, so luckily after calling Honda dealership in Weston they said they can have all the parts for tomorrow, my dads picking it all up after work so hopefully in the late afternoon/evening that side of the car will be all done.

Phew, I think i'll retire for the day.

Right, so after a lot of work and trip down to the local Honda to get a new LCA bush and bolt it's all back together.

Here's the only picture of the fronts off:

That took me the best part of 45 minutes? Nothing was that bad to take off on the front. The rear on the other hand, well... that took a while. As already said the bush and bolt weren't playing ball on one side as a result I have a picture of the offending bush and bolt:

That bush was easy to get out once given the persuasion, getting the other bush back in on the other hand, it took a while but it's in with the new bolt back on the car.

This is now how the car stands after giving it a test drive around the country lanes to make sure it's all in check:

I'm very happy with the new ride height, looks so much better than it was.

Farewell old springs!

Yeah I'd like to go lower, but I'll just have to wait till I've money to get some Coilovers.

Cheers man, I do like the colour. Just needs a clean, got dusty rubbish all over it again.

No updates as such, just a nice picture my friend got on his phone when on the way down to Japfest.

I've tilted it a bit, but maybe I'll tilt it more.

Whereas the wiper, I prefer to keep it because I'd no doubt want it smoothed of properly if I lose it. :)

THat picture looks wicked, the rear wheel looks proper mental, like its buckled or something, i know its just the photo but its looks crazy. !

Right been a little bit quiet (well I say a little bit).

But I've been working now for about 3 months and loving every bit of it, but even more on the plus side I finally have wonga to spend as I wish, in this case that meant more for the car.

I bought a big box which contained Wham bars. *ahem*

Congratulations to the people who saw as well HSD coilovers:

So as soon as I wasn't working I got round to fitting them, after a lot of adjustment on the rear coilovers (with the car still up in the air the arch wanted to eat the wheels) I finally thought "That'll do." and here is the result.

In my opinion it looks absolutely smashing now, all I've got to do is get a rear lip, spoiler, different exhaust and maybe some other bits and bobs and I'd be happy with it.

As always comments are welcome so type away.

love that 2nd from bottom photo, car's looking great man, wheels are spot on!
