Dans EK9 Type R

Lol I'm always up for trying things out. And I'm glad I did it this way :nice:

Works fantastic. I was playing around with the idea with the grill but there wasn't appropriate space and the feed would have been even longer and less direct, and too near my manifold.

@gee, no worries dude.

looks better than i thought they would.. function over form tho:D would look better if mounted flush with the bumper tho imo..

Good idea but be sure to clean your filter regularly, its 100% exposed into sucking all sorts of crap.

When I opended my comptech ice box up at 2000kms, I was suprised to find dead bugs and lots of tiny rubbish specs even though it sits inside the bumper feeding through the foglight hole.

Nice cold air feed dude, function over form anyday, true jdm! :D

I'm going to have a play around with one coming from behind the fins in the mouth of the bumper

cheer guys

Yeah i am a true believer of function over form!

@Jugbugz, thanks mate, i will check over it regulary. After driving it a few days on this set up i am so impressed. So much better with this intake on rather then the apexi short Ram from my B16B. Want to put it back on dyno to see if there are any improvments.

Ive been contemplating the idea for a couple of months now and finally decided on the idea. What you guys think? No carbon bonnet. I think i prefer the white bonnet. Opinions please.

I definitely prefer the white now.

Lovely car bar the hole in the front bumper.

I had the pleasure of a trip to Purley last night!

Racing up and down as you were last night (which I am told you do every week), especially with the weather & road conditions, was very dangerous and you were extremely lucky to of avoided any involvement in that accident.

Tut, tut, tut Danny boy!

What would TGGT have to say!

Indeed, it is a very smart car & nobody wants to see people get hurt.

Just remember dude there is a time and a place and the key is to do it when the risk is minimal (or as minimal as it can be in this uncertain world).

A wise man once said... wel the above actually lol!!:nice:

Thanks for the comments chaps.....

The place is an industrial estate so not on public road. Been going to the place for over 5 years now. I have nearly 6 years NCB. Do appriciate the words buddy as you speak the truth but I've had accidents a few years back alot if near misses etc and have learnt a thing or 2. Regarless to say we can all still be silly and stupid sometimes. I know the car and am always aware of potential outcome... Needless to say anything can happen. But what I choose to do is up to me as I wouldn't question others choices. I believe most of the time I choose the right places.

Cheers
