Hi, can anyone tell me good or bad things about Wr Car sales in West Yorkshire?

Website looks okay, been trading since 2000, just i thought i read some negative stuff about them 3-4 yrs ago.

Thanks

Keef

The one in bradford? They are alright, heard some negative stuff about them though, but also heard positive.

I may be talking utter rubbish here but if this place is a re-branded and re-launched WRC car sales in bradford then i wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. I got a tegs from them in the summer of 2009 and it was in a really bad state. without going into details they robbed me totaly. although i have no idea if its the same team....

If it is the same guys that ran WRC then I wouldn't bother.

I drove for over 4 hours in my mini to look at a nine they had and it was pretty ropey, after I'd asked over the phone what it was like! It was also left parked in the back of the warehouse even though they knew I was coming and to top it off when I asked about a test drive he said 'You wanna drive it, you buy it.' So I buggered off home again and wasted a whole day!

Still I have not seen that nine turn up again so I guess they couldn't sell it but I'm not surprised really!

Still it may not be the same people but does seem too similar to not be.

Have they got a web site?

edit: Just found the site and it looks very similar to the WRC one so most likely is the same people.

Yes Guys, i knew WRC and think they went down the pan around 2010? since my post i spoke to a guy there, about an Accord CL7 (Euro R) sonded a bit dodgey, i noticed the car has been on PistonHeads for a while. I was told the car has been in the UK for 1.5-2 yrs, but never driven, it came in as a silver accord, but the guy had it sprayed CW as he said it would be easier to sell?

He also said the company downsized 2010, and moved to a smaller premises, and they don't bother with Jap stuff anymore because of the Yen. It's also stored at the back of a warehouse.

So yeh, sounds like the same outfit, might be cosha now, but i will give it a miss.

Torque GT maybe?

Yeah does sound a bit suspect, not worth the hassle if it's been sat about for that long.

Torque GT are good got my nine from them and more than willing to help even a good few months after I'd bought it.

Can't think of any horror stories about them either.

seriously stay well away if its anything like wrc bradford. for me there is only one importer i trust 1000% and that is Jurgen at JM imports. he doesnt do much honda but is willing to source anything you may require. he got my EK and a bpu 400bhp Supra that i owned fault free for 2 years. expect to pay tho Jurgen doesnt do cheap, but his imports are second to none :p
