hello

i dont like the mid spoiler that came on my ek,
so if i got rid of it, would i have holes in the bodywork where the spoiler fitted?

if so, would it just be easier to find a new boot?

cheers

Yes it will leave holes man.. i think six in total iirc... it would be up to you really as the holes would be easily welded up but would need a respray.

if you remove you will be left with holes so welding and re-spray will be needed, if you can find a new bootlid cheap enough i'd go for that but price the welding and spray from a body shop first see how much they want...

cock, as if, who would want that horrible spoiler,
well i guess for me itll probs be easier trying to find a boot with the same colour paint ha, might take a while
ill ask a painter as well

cheers guys

you could also just fill the holes with some filler..simple

My Jordan came with a mid spoiler fitted and I have looked inside the bootlid to see if its bolted and it doesnt seem to be. Just seems to be stuck on with the same pads that stick the ek9 spoiler to the baseplate. It was fitted by Honda when the guy bought it brand new back in '99. Take the rear panels off and see if you can see there are any bolts before going to the hassle of getting a new lid or respray, looking is free!
