ive recently relocated my washer bottle to my boot, and im now left with a connector with three wires coming from it for the pump for the front window jets. does anyone know where i would wire these to inside the car? surely the wires are behind the dash somewhere as it is controlled by the stalk on the steering column? and does anyone know what the wires are for....earth..positive..and what?
thanks in advance :)

The third wire must be the switch for the stalk cant imagine it being anything else, still could be wrong tho.

Not sure what you would do with the wiring but should be easy enough to pull them back through to the cabin and just extend them to the boot. This way you don't really need to worry about which wire does what as long as you wire it the same.

Not an expert nor have i done this before but that's what I would do.

Good luck fella! :nice:

The only problem is that one of the wires joined the two connectors together (the front washer pump and rear washer pump). However im no longer using the rear washer pump so have blanked these wires off so now im left with 2 wires for the rear washer...two for the front washer...but a connector with three wires coming from it....
Cheers for your input though mate

i had to relocate my washer bottle to my boot in my coupe when i first turbo'd it, as the intercooler pipe ran where the washer bottle was. all i did was cut the wires, extending them and running them under the carpet to the boot ,but the coupes dont have rear wipers and just one connector, i aslo had to fit a oneway valve in the silicone piping as when i would brake to hard the washer jets squirted on there own lol

ok now im even more confused lol
thanks for your input though mate
so im still left with one wire from the connector block that i dont have a clue about...hmmm

sorry if i made it confusing, all i did was unplug the connector to my pump chopped the connector off, extend it 3 meters and plug it back in. hope that makes more sense:naughty:

also why are you moving it to your boot???

Tbh mate ive just moved it because it looks cleaner under the bonet after a slight wire tuck. Removed PAS...moved fusebox to glove box and moved battery and washer bottle to boot. Oviously it helps with weight distribution...bit mostly did it cause i was bored lol.
I understand how you did it mate and would replicate it if i still had rear washer pump but ive took this off due to having no rear wiper....so therefore confused as one of the wires from the connector used to simply join the front and rear washer pumps together.
