After some search I'm still not sure if I need some kind of special wire and what size should be. Going to wire tuck ABS fuse box, engine fuse box and headlight loom. I have checked Honda-tech. I found out it should be stranded (what is that?) and go with same og bigger size, never smaller.

Enlighten me :please: :thanks:

For the headlight loom I got 'headlight loom' wire from another car and soldered and heat shrunk the wire together. It is possible to just unplug the 4 plugs from the fuse box and relocate it under or near the heater matrix without having to cut any of them wires!

^^^what he said^^^^

you can always just de-pin it and remove the plug from it.run the wires the way you want them and then just measure how much more you need,cut,solder,heat-shrink tubing, and waaallllaaaaaaa............your done.

you can also add expandable tubing before you place the pins back on the plug.

here is an example of a harness i did for my EK to be able to use lo-impedance injectors without having to hack my engine harness.G/L & remember that you need lots and lots of patience.

i refuse to pay the RY-WIRE fees for an engine harness,so i'm gonna give it a try on my own.

ry-wire its crazy on those prices

YOUR TELLING ME!!!!!!!!!

I shopped around and found the expandable wire loom very in-expensive from an old man in Georgia.bought a SI harness very cheap cause it was hacked up and had a few pigtails missing.just gonna take it complete apart and redo the whole thing RY-WIRE style.not knocking the man down cause his harness are excellent but FUX them prices are steep.talk about breaking the bank :wow:.

Thanks guys :)
Looks like a pro job you've done :nice:
But I won't be getting another loom.

you dont have to get another loom, just extend the one you have.but whatever you do,dont twist-tie wires, solder them and shrink tube them.you will have no issues. G/L :nice:

Yeah but do I need some special wires? Autowires if there is such thing?
Can I use simple wire you can buy in hardware store? :)

if your gonna get aftermarket wires, make sure they are the same gauge.should not be an issue unless you use thinner wire where bigger gauge is needed.you dont need special wires.do you guys have junkyards that you pull your own parts(u-pull it) over there?

Okay thanks mate :)

Yeah we do have junkyards/scrapyards :D I think I can get some loom yeah. But I would rather extend with new and fresh wires ;)

You can use any cable as long as it is the correct gauge and matches what is on the loom - best to check out the electrical diagrams in the workshop manual for assistance to ensure you have the right gauge

the headlight looms can be tucked WITHOUT extending any wires - i've done it

rest of the wiring will need played with though if you want to hide it
