windscreen replacement

has anybody ever had their windscreen on their ek9 replaced?

I have got some nasty deep scratches on mine that wont polish out and wondered if it was worth a new screen as they are very annoying!

Would I get this done on my insurance do you think or does it have to be chipped/cracked??

Autoglass repairs cracks. Sometimes getting a used but mint windscreen is cheaper. Ek9 windscreens are lighter than normal ek ones though.

Ah right I thought that might be the case. I live on an island south of the UK, so might have to see if I can get it done through my insurance and get the screen through a honda dealer
