hey all, ive just done a 4x114 hub conversion on my ek4 and bought some 96spec itr wheels, just wondering what size tyres to order? car will be used on track and road.

195/45/15 or /195/50/15 or any other suggestions?

thanks in advance people :)

id go with 195/50/15. The 45 profile is too low for the roads, plus it looks weird on 15" wheels.

thanks bud, am i better to run wider tyres on front for track use? or would 195/50/15 all around be ok?

sorry for all the questions people im clueless when it comes to tyres :(

195/50/15 is perfect for that size alloy. the oem size tyre is 195/55/15 so your speedo will be off but only by a small percentage. I wouldnt go above 195 on a 6J alloy myself as a 205 tyre will look buldged out from the rim and can give a negative effect to the handling as there will be play so to speek in the side wall movement. As for running wider tyres on the front, there is no real need. Just focus on getting 4 good quality tyres and go from there.

195/45 if you dump it

195/50 if you dont

difference in the comfort as well

i had 195/45 up front and 195/50 rear

go for 195/50, best option. I have a 205/50 and it drives not that good because the sidewall moves a lot.

Youve gone with an OEM wheel so why not go with the OEM tyre too; 195 55 15?

Will help take up some of the arch gap too.
