ok My civic ek4 requires a lambda sensor for an mot,iv found some on ebay

1. correct sensor for car but requires factory plug to be cut off and crimped onto the sensor but not made by bosch/ntk/ngk 17quid delivered

2. correct sensor for car with plug so no cutting and crimping but not made by bosch/ntk/ngk 40quid delivered

3. bosch sensor complete with plug so no crimping 80quid delivered

are these sensors really that sensetive as iv heard honda is my best bet but i aint paying the rediculous amount they want for one so these three are my choices

all my instinct says honda but comment sense says the 18 quid one will be fine

Id be going with the Bosch one or Oem Honda one. I wouldnt bother with the first two.

honda want 212 quid for an o2 sensor so that is absolutely out of the question

Well put it this way. With the OEM Honda sensor you wont have any issues. Fair enough its 212 quid but in the long run its worth buying OEM. The sensor is probably made by Bosch or Denso so you could look into getting one from them instead. That is another good option. I wouldnt even bother with the first two options as you really dont know how good those parts are. An o2 sensor for 17 quid that isnt plug and play cant be very good quality. In my experience with things like this its always best to buy OEM or from a company that you know has a good reputation.
