where do you see the civic japanese perfornmance scene in 5-10years?

just thought of this today and was wondering what are other peoples views are on the future of ek9s and all japanese tuning cars in 2015-2020?

and what will people be doin to their cars will there be diferent tuning products etc?


i think that ek9s and japanese performance cars in general will be fairly old then and numbers will twindle and will become rarer leading to the jdm scene slowly reducing to nothing:nerv:

and petrol prices and new strict law enforcements on exhaust levels will take their toll on the tuning scene too!

I Think EK9s will become like CRX/EGs and everyone will have EP3's and FN2's
 
i agree with dunsy but think petrol is gunna cost soo much to run ev one will almost have one of those electric cars eventually.
 
I agree, although i think they will be Flying electric cars
 
i dont think people will go for ep civics k20 too heavy an mpg tax too much i think the scene will die out or be severly minimised:((

cause if you think abot were modding the same cars we are today as we were 6years ago theres no new cars taking the reigns?
 
More people running around in tax free electric car's for the enviromentalist's out there, then reallising, every bugger own's one, pay's no road tax, and road's and pot holes will never be fixed then car's will fly :)
 
flying electric cars would be the tits:drool: but i cant see their being flying electric cars in mainstrem use for along time:((

its hard to see what the future of the car involves but petrol prices wull kill us all in the end:((
 
People might moan on fuel price's, but when did you fill up your car last and Then take it for a Blip on a bypass and say "what a waste of Money", people will fill car's up till there broke, Public transport is turd and too expensive. i dont mid fuel price's, yes it's annoying, but my 9 is more of a weekend car, i have a push bike to get me to work and back everyday. but then again if we didnt wanna follow the americans into war's as Pawns from a chess set Oil prices might be lower and gordan Browns rubber ears might listen to what the public actually wants, Bit ranty but oh well lol

Just the way how this country work's lol, Jeremy Clarkson once sumed up the real cost of fuel, Believe it to be along the lines of

47p for the fuel a litre, then goverment tax and all the parlimentry back hander's for each other's XXX sections(Harriet Harmans Husband :))

gives us £1.19 per litre for V power at present, and we moan about a ship bringing it over from about 5000miles for that cost :) pretty good tbh
 
ya it is cheap considering a litre of water is more expensive somehow or another:wow:

i do 400-600miles a week which is normal enough for someone in rural ireland that has to travel to go to work and which can see me fillin my tank twice most weeks which is costin me bot 120euro now these days thats alot of money on fuel alone i now have to cut back on weekend driving to try and reduce my fuel bill as i cant afford it!:((

im telling you if fuel prices continue to rise it will get to everyone in the end:(( i know its out of our power but is a big concern:(
 
Thats fair enough, unfortunatly our Pm's are all over paid and are t*****rs lol, and yep i wouldnt trust them to look after me Nan. it'll get worse before better. i can remember going to Japfest at castle coombe few years back, fuel was about £1.24 for v power back then, needed to fill the car up 3 times on way there (turboed B16 delsol) included was track time fuel of 4 sessions, then we drove rather slowly home and done another tank and half. cost a about £250 for one show, but went like stink.

we dont even have vpower over here:(( have to use shitty 95octane stuff:angry2:
ya its hard to see it gettin better petrol is running out suposedly so cant see it gettin cheaper:((
what the hell will happen when it does run out:(
 
another war for some oil well's :), america will end up owning Dubai, and the Falklands have just let slip of a possible new couple of oil well's, hence why we're getting involved down there again
