Wheels Nuts


Don't OEM honda wheels use a curved pitch rather than a straight one like aftermarket wheels?

Went for the 5zigen ones myself in the end. They look sweet as but are quite long. Will post some pics when they're on the car...

orth noting that the only aftermarket wheel nuts you can get to fit OEM wheels are the grey Spoon ones, they have the radius head on them ( red/blue spoon nuts have the taper fit for aftermarket wheels ) :win:
 
Lol, didn't even give me a chance to answer.

Quality wise they are amazing, very nicely machined and ridiculously light :D.
Can't notice the diff in weight by holding them but there must be some difference i guess.
 
Bah, they called me back and said it turned out they didnt have them in stock. :mad:
Looking for somwhere to buy them now. Where did you get yours from?
 
The best thing about rays lugs are that 1 lug is locking, deterring thieves. Most long, open-ended lugs are actually lighter than rays, but most do not have any security. You can use open ended racing lugs with extended studs if you have them.
80 lb/ft is the OEM for our lugs, just remember to torque in sequence. Also, using a 12 pt. socket will ruin the look of aftermarket lug nuts.
 
5zigen nuts have a locking nut (sorry if I misread your post Dino). The closed end nut has a special ridge that can only be used with the supplied tool (which also works for the rest of the nuts :nice:
 
Might be going down santa-pod too on saturday. :) thatll be good fun. Street tyres though
 
I have black mutekis and I like them, never broke anything. Very good quality nuts :nice:
Had Spoon and I didn't like the quality of them.
 
Ok now i understand. The good thing about muteki is the kit comes with a tool every nuts you must use their tool, so is like all your nuts has been loked.

The only thing i don´t know is, if every tool's of muteki's are the same :confused:
