Hope you all had a good Xmas and have a good new year.

Looking to see will I run into any problems if i fit these wheel specs to my Ek, before I pull the trigger and get them shipped.

Fronts 16x7.5 et32

rears 16x8.5 et37

Very wide!

Don't think 8.5's will fit

I'm using 16x7 et35 with a 205-45 and it's pretty tight on the back already

Yeh, the rear width makes me think there for a ae86 or s13.

What's your ride height like std or -?.?

This is the only pic I've taken since adjusting the height, have lowered it 20mm down from where it was

Mines on right

You should just draw out a template onto a big cardboard box and check.

All you need to do is convert 16" into mm (16 x 2.5 = 400mm) x Pi (3.14)

400 x 3.14 = 1256mm

so you need a length of card 1256mm long by 7.5" wide, wrapped in a circle and taped up.

Then all you do is cut a circle of card 16" Diameter and stick it into the other Cardboard circle at an Offset of +32, and you can also put holes in the circle to the PCD of the wheel studs 5 x 114.3.

Do the same for the rear wheel with extra width and different offset and thats it.

All youd need is a tape measure, scissors, tape, a bit of string and a pencil.

It quick and easy and can help you figure out if you will have suspension or steering problems on full lock, can help you to see if and how much arch rolling is required and all kings of other things.

Plus you might get a blue peter badge :nice:

Based on my experiances you will probably find that they are more than likely off of an MR2. My Enkei Racing-S are 16x7+33 and 16x8+33. They originally had 205x45x16 on the 7J's and 225x45x16 on the 8J's.

I sold the 225's and test fitted the 205's on them and they fit ok to be honest with hardly any noticeable stretch. May end up putting 215's on the 8j's instead though. Anyway, I have rolled and pulled the rear lips on my 9 and the 8j's still seem a bit too wide for my liking so I will be running mine with the 8's at the front and the 7's at rear. At the end of the day the car is front wheel driven so it makes sense to put the wider wheels there.

With a bit more manipulation I think that I could fit the 8's on the rear but I really don't fancy running stretched tyres or excessive amounts of negative camber.

Using a wheel offset calculator it seems that compared to my 8j et 33 your 8.5j et 37 rims will extend an extra 2mm past the outside edge of the wheel and your inner clearance between the inside of the wheel to the strut housing will be 10mm less.

At the end of the day I think the only way to tell for sure and be happy will be to test fit (even without tyres). Hope this helps and let us know the outcome.

Everthing you said is where im at, putting the 8j on the front is my best option but still concerned about the inner clearance.
Bite the bullet and order them so

After looking at these wheels for a month and sorting the shipping quote, Guy says he sold them this morm, Gutted genuine K/P1's and i missed out.
