wheel nut size!

hey guys,

after seeing the 5zigen wheels nuts on nikolas-type rs' civic in the http://www.ek9.org/forum/photos-videos/24558-2000-ek9-rs.html post, i have to get some!!

only trouble is they appear to come in various sizes - 1.25 and 1.5mm diameter - as seen at: N1 Concepts: Build Attitude - Premier Import Car Source for JDM and New Automotive Parts.

i was wondering what size suits the ek9?

Aye, M12x1.5mm

Try and steer clear of cheap ones, they can strip easy

Also if using aluminium wheel nuts be sure to check the manufacturers torque spec as can be different from oem nuts which are steel
 
i was going for these, envyperformance was who were going to supply them, paid through website and got a load of crap, constant lies and false promises again and again

will never use them again and would advise everyone steer clear tbh

alternatively, i can supply project MU floating race nuts as seen here in the picture

these are 20,000yen, which is about £150

although, im looking to do them at around £120 to forum members

also, just to let you know, spoke to my man in charge of the spacers and wheel nuts, he is now on the case with longer design super strong nuts, just like the 5zigen and rays etc :)

obviously, nowhere near the price tag demanded by them either ;)
