just wondering cause i was offered 10,000 usd for my car today and i didnt take it, everyone tells me i should have sold it, but i just dont think thats enough, just my engine/trans is 4,000!! and i have a million other parts like the turbo/suspension/bodywork/etc... imo though this might be unrealistic, i wouldent sell it for any less than 14-15,000 usd, what about you guys, what would you sell yours for?

Wow, only 10K for yours? :shocked: Perhaps things are different here though but.......If I just make a notice that I'm selling AN EK9, its almost sure I can get 10K in minutes!! If I do patience for a couple of weeks, 14K is guaranteed!! If I also say about the mods I'm running now, I can launch the price to 16K and sell it easily!! I guess things are different in the states huh?? :D

hmmm. that 10000 in us dollars is about 5000 pounds right.....
your car is worth much more!

I wouldn't settle for less than 15000euro for my baby

a standard ek9 facelift model goes for bout 12k over here...blinx ur car is worth so much more wit turbo conversion an everythin....i no i guy who had a turbo vti runnin somethin like 250bhp type r replica an he got 17k for it!!!!!!!

now since ur in the good ol' usa like me..is it a true type r import or an ej with a b16/b18 turbo? If its a type r ive seen em go for 25-30k in NY, if its an ej type r replica, i dunno but 10 grand seems to be the offer around town here. Engine swaps are a dime a dozen and no one is going to pay exact amount you paid for everything. I have a show car srt4 with 20k under the hood and interior stereo wise and i was going to sell it for 18 and move on, but i couldnt sell my baby...but anyways..no point selling it if your having fun with it, but do remember, its only worth exactly how much someone else would pay for it...

i dont think i could sell mine unless i was given a swap of a dc5 or ep3:lol:

or maybe even an nsx-r:nice::lol:

I sold mine :( I received a excellent $$$$ offer and I took it :(

Well, many times early in my ownership of my car I tried to sell or trade it. Almost traded for these cars:
92 Civic Si hatch with GSR block, ITR head, ITR trans, ITR 5-lug brakes, ITR wheels, ITR seats, power window conversion, lots of other goodies, painted range rover blue, clean as hell.....trade fell through
94 Integra LS with GSR swap.....dude was a dick and trade fell through.
89-90 (can't remember) 240SX with recently rebuilt 97-98 KA24DE swap...... started to offer to trade then changed my mind.
88 Civic DX with JDM SiR front end conversion, JDM B16A, and a crapload of other JDM goodies.......too damn far to go to trade and I was starting to get attached to my car.

I probably won't sell it now unless someone offered me and incredible price (they'd have to want a project EK real bad to offer enough to make me wanna sell). It'd probably take $4500-$5000 plus a beater to drive to find me another EK or an EG to buy (or maybe even a DA or DC Intera or 92-96 Prelude). My Car is really only worth about $3200-$3600. See I don't have that "I :heart: my Honda" sticker on my windshield for nothing.
