What kind of supercharger do i have on my car??
i just bought a supercharged ek9 type r, it has a C's compresser on it, what kind of charger is this and what kind of hp is it makin??
any 1 help??:p
 
wow...pretty rare piece you have there. IIRC, it's similar to the JRSC.
 
It's a roots type supercharger, pretty much identical to the JRSC unit just prettier... You would be lucky to have 250bhp.
 
we had a JRSC on a B18C and that made onbly 207 bhp with the larger crank pulley too,,

dont expect mega gains from having a compressor / air heater!! on your car......

207bhp is really low, thats about 175whp which is below average even for a JRSC...

may of been 207 WHP but i struggle to beleive that,,
was done at CPL racing on dyno dynamics rolling road running hondata s300 and 440cc RC injectors,, lasted about 6000 miles then melted a piston :shocked:
 
dynodynamics? i hope it was setup in load bearing mode, that would explain a lot...

Dyno Dynamics can tuner cars while under load, this simulates road conditions more accurately, it basically puts a load on the the rollers so its harder for the car to turn them, this reduces the amount of power generated as the wheels have to use power to over come the rollers. basically its great for tuning but bad for numbers. its easy to see 15% loss on a dyno dynamics if its in load bearing mode.
