Weird power window problem - any ideas?

Ive a strange one here, on my EK4, the drivers side switch for my passenger window wont work at all , the passenger window is fine as it works perfect off passenger side switch. I bought a whole new drivers side switch from the scrapyard and thats the exact same, has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas to other possible sources of the problem?

My ek9 is exactly the same never bothered me enough to look into fixing it though.

Yeah its more of an annoyance to be honest but id like to fix it if i can, i hate having to reach across to use the passenger side switch

properly the motor in the window being ****ed. civics and power windows dont go lol

Cant see it being the motor as it works off the passenger side. switch i think it has to be something in the switch or the wiring.

Check fuses first of all just in case the switch on that side has a seperate fuse, failing that it kind if points towards a break in the wiring, best thing to do is to check your getting power using a meter while operating the switch, most likely break would be where the wiring loom comes through the body and into the door as that is getting moved all the time
