Weds carbon fibre alloys


always wondered why they didnt start making these earlier? due to strength issues?
 
would you trust your local kwikfit fitting a set of tyres to these? lol
don't think i would trust these hitting a pothole alloy=dent, carbon=big mess
 
IIRC Roger Clark motorsport were using part carbon wheels in their 22B time attack car, and Koenigsegg fitted the same wheels to the CCX-R
 
dont know if i would trust carbon firbre wheels on track. but they do look awesome! :))

price $10.000 or more... WOW

and, it wont be able to hold track abuse.

they are more recommended for show cars!
 
Looks good but I wouldnt pay 10k just for other people to look at it. Where do you get the enjoyment out of it? Other than saying, yeah.... those are mine. I bet they crack at the first speed bump. Looks dope but 10k should buy a carbon shell not rims..... my two cents
 
Christ, for that price, and the current state of the English roads, I would be petrified to even attempt to drive my car on them. :eek:

carbon fibre alloys on our roads, you got to be kidding, kerbing them or potholing them would be a nightmare,, dont make me laugh, ten to twelve grand, i could think of better things to do with that money.. get a grip people,,:nono:
