Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8 Turbo 20v in Stunning Black Magic Pearl
This is the ultimate everyday car. This car was meant to be for life and I never intended to sell it- I’ve spent over £10,000 in parts!
It’s the most enjoyable car I have ever driven and nothing can replace it. Unfortunately the credit crunch has meant that I can no longer afford the luxury of a second car. Its only driven less than 500 miles since July last year and spends most of the time in the garage.
I bought this car over 3 years ago in virtually standard condition. In that time no expense has been spared in the maintenance and improvements to this car.
I’m a Lamborghini Technician by trade and have been able to carry out oil changes every 1000 miles with regular filter changes. Any inspection through the oil filler neck can prove this.
In terms of power it was dyno tuned at ChippedUK with a standard clutch and flywheel and made a healthy 332bhp and 339lb/ft (proven with dyno print out) of torque. Since then a stage 3 clutch and lighten and balanced flywheel has been fitted allowing for a lot more torque and bhp.

The car is registered as a cat d which happened in my possession before any of the modifications were carried out. It only needed replacing with genuine front door. The original door is still in possession and can be viewed if needed.
I have never driven the car on a track day- it was way too precious to risk anything happening to it. The vehicle is currently SORN declared.
The car is advertised elsewhere and so I reserve the right to withdraw this auction at any time. I am open to genuine and sensible offers.
