Vti-s lips

As you know i'm breaking my car, took the back bumper off yesterday to clean and remove the lips.

Anyway i was aware that the VTI-S was a special edition that was made in the year of 1998 and only came in starlight black and there were only 200 of the EK4 chassis type models :blabla:

Looking at the back of the bumper it actually has a date on it

----21 APRIL 1997---- and also it had MADE IN AUSTRIA written on the back.
all the honda logos are there and the little honda markings.

It just puzzled me a little bit....is it something as simple as they were made before 1998 to be SOLD in the year of 1998, it can't be fake as knowone would have been able to bring out a fake lip when the real thing was not out yet...

anyway though i'd put this up as someone may know something about it.

I doubt it would be a fake, probably just the initial batch of 98 to be manufactured? could potentially have one of the very first 98's on your hands :drool:

thats the exact sort of thing i was after cheers man.

Honda in my veins - def not fake, did have on my hands lol its now sold and being shipped out to the U.S of A.


tell you what i'll put up a picture... bear in mind this is a 13 year old lip that has never been resprayed and has been on the car for 106,000 miles

I personally think its INCREDIBLE condition..

lol, you say that but wait until i get the front of tomorrow and get a picture of that.
The rear is ruined compared to the front :) i don't F*** about when it comes to quality.
