VTEC Solenoid Spool Valve Filter ?

Hi guys,

Just wondering when this needed changing or if its somthing that will be ok in a well serviced car.

Sorting out all new service parts and just wondered if this was worth doing.

Engine has done 54,000 serviced every 6 months.

If you can afford to change it, then it's not a bad idea... otherwise, I just use a bit of brake clean and flush it gently.

instead of making a new thread done a search! were would i get one of these i took my solenoid off to clean it and i damaged the rubber,no its leaking so i need a new one!
anyone on here do them?
