VTEC Challenge Rounds 7 & 8 @ Anglesey 2nd/3rd July
With a welcome in the hillsides beckoning, the VTEC Challenge moves to the coastal circuit on the island of Anglesey over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July.
Set on the west coast of Anglesey, overlooking the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia mountain range beyond, the Anglesey circuit provides visitors with a challenging and exciting circuit in a breathtaking location.
With a full weekends racing as part of the BARCâs âClub Carsâ event, each day will offer up a different circuit to test the drivers.
The benefit to this is that not only will track time be extended, but with the option of two drivers racing on different layouts, the costs of the weekend can be split.
On Saturday 2nd July, qualifying and race #1 will take place on the circuits âCoastalâ layout. The 1.55 mile Coastal Circuit offers a slightly shorter lap possibly favouring the less powerful machinery and also includes the extremely popular Corkscrew section.
On the Sunday 3rd the action will move to the âInternationalâ layout for a separate qualifying session and race #2. The 2.1mile International Circuit is made up of fast flowing corners, long straights and a tight hairpin, which will provide a challenge to everyone competing.
The full track offers spectators a choice of excellent vantage points from where they can witness the action unfold.
