I know this has been covered many millions of times but I'm still having issues
Lost my speedo just before I garaged my 9 ready for winter. Since I got it all rebuilt and working again after my usual winter mini strip and clean I still have no speedo
Vss is a used but working part supplied by a big player on this forum.
I have given the sender unit it's own dedicated earth to rule out the intermittent earth fault problem.
Correct voltage identified at the sender unit.
Sender plug visually looked perfect. With a wipe it looks brand new. I have a kph / mph converter fitted by Jm autos upon UK import which piggybacks a 12v feed from the vss sender plug and breaks the speed sense wire as it should - all seems good.
Am I right in saying if my fault existed on the solder joints at the back of the speedo then I would still get vtec engage?
Please help guys I'm sick of cw polo's dusting me
Kisses xx
