VSM XS EK Hatch

Hello all, as I said in my introduction, I'm from Portugal.
I previously had a '93 Delsol, but since I ended up in this forum I just went crazy to "MUST HAVE EK HATCH" (Shame on you guys!)

Then I picked up a cool business and got this one.

Let the mod's/repairs begin.
Five minutes after the car came home, this one went in :lol:

The car has alota stuff to do, needs body repair, has dents all over the place and needs a new paint.

I've been up working on the car since the day it came.
Fixed rear bumper till I get new one (The current one is cracked)
Lubbed up all the bushings because they are from ES Master kit and they were completely dried out and squeeking like hell.

B16A2 Bottom and Head
ITR P73 Pistons
Arp Bolts
ITR Dual valve springs
Vented valve cover with oil catch can
Blox magnetic oil drain plug

Intake
Stock airbox with K&N Filter without ressonance box
Worked B16A2 Intake Manifold
Maybe bigged TB (Don't know yet :p)

Exhaust
Stock Header
2.5" Catback
Remus backbox (Passes in portuguese MOT)
Homemade Decat

Suspension/Braking
Full 5 Lug ITR conversion with 282mm Discs at front and 260mm at rear
Goodridge brake lines
Neuspeed shocks and springs
ASR Subframe
24mm Swaybar
Energy Suspension Bushing Master Kit

Interior
Pretty much stock except
ATR style knob


Future mods/Repairs:
Hondata S300
Innovative LC1 wideband
Front 96-98 Type R Lip
Rear bumper w/Type R Lip
Type R Spoiler
Repair the body
VSM New paint

Comments and sugestions are apreciated.
 
Looking good mate, do you know the power output with those mods applied currently?

Future mods section looks excellent, will be a topper :D
 
clean. a nice base to start with. whats up with front bumper.

The previous one cracked or something so this went in it has no friezes (maybe wrong word, I think you can know what I mean) so I'll paint this one
I'm getting a genuine VSM rear bumper without friezes aswell. Only side friezes (damn this word doesnt sound good) will stay in the car

Thanks mate, the actual power output I dont know, but in April I'll dyno it.
Expecting 170-175Hp without tune and maybe 180-185Hp tuned.


All I can say is that the car is very "strong" has great low-mid range and higher RPM's are awesome as well, and way more linear than the DelSol.

Ah and brakes like shiat! I almost get my head humped into the dash :lol:

Currently I dont have Engine bay shots but as soon as I clean it, I'll get some. I think the master cylinder isnt the stock one (maybe ITR) as it seems bigger than the stock.
