Yes I know.... Vauxhall.... sais it all really! But Honda badged a Frontera as well.... known as the Honda Passport and Honda Jazz (before the Jazz car)!!! Bet ya' didn't know that see! 
Sooo I need help.....
After getting fed up of the crappy CD player in my Frontera (1999 2.2 RS petrol) I decided yesterday to rip it out and change it...... one problem, the previous owner by the looks had no grasp of sensible wiring and has bodged it totally, once I pulled the player out it all just came apart basically!!!
So now I'm left with a load of fresh ends that I've cut off, with an adapter to use to wire in (join the wires with joiners..etc).
I have a proper Vauxhall PDF Worshop manual for it which is more than useless really as half the wires it's asking about aren't there, and on the other hand there are more wires there that it doesn't mention!! So it's pretty useless really!
My problem is I'm very familiar with wiring my Civic EG's and I know which wire is which, but typical.... Vauxhall use all sorts of bloody colours, nothing is like the Honda wiring, anywhere!! Its like a b*astard fire works display in there, even a rainbow would be shamed.
So I'm p*ssing in the dark against the wind basically!
I'm testing with testers, to me basing my knowledge on Honda wiring, I'm getting current through wires where there shouldn't be any..... like the ground/earth...... some one is playing silly buggers!
Can anyone shed any light or know where I can find some pics and diagrams? Before I take a turd in the CD player DIN slot and tape it up and that's that!!
