Tyre size question ??? (Bridgestone RE50's)

Hi guys,

May be a silly question but thought i would clarify, i am currently running 4x Toyo T1R's on my EK9 and the current tyre size is 195/40/R16.

My front 2x Tyres are almost out, i can get a really good deal of 2x Bridgestone RE50's but in 195/45/16.

So question is would be safe to run 195/45/16's on the front and 195/40/16's on the rear? Would it affect the handling, once my rear toyos fade a little more ill run all the same tyres, just a little broke at the moment to buy the RE50's all around.

My car isnt too low so dont think i was have rubbing issues with the 45's.

I dont think there will be any advers effects mate. If anything i would say the 45 profile bridgestones will be still more responsive than the 40 t1r's.

It will be fine to run about on altho i wouldnt want to be "pushing on" a car with 2 different sets of tyres.
