Turbo set up for Jordan

Aren't the ek9 rears bigger than a Jordan's? Not be worth doing swapping them on or just get decent pads? I'll freakyparts a shout thanks Sid! Might need to re drill them to fit though as I have 4x100 not 4x114

Could you not use mg discs? I'm sure you can get 282mm front ones in 4x100 torment (same size as ek9 fronts. The rears on ek9 are 260mm I do believe :nice:

Check to see how much he had the head skimmed by or if it was just done after a h-gasket or something. Perhaps a thicker head gasket needed? I had problems with the multi-layered ones... I noticed there's lot of little extra things that might be needed with a turbo conversion whilst getting mine done. Bigger rad, newer driveshafts (or uprated), engine mounts (newer or uprated), water pump, oil pump etc along with the other stuff like engine management/injectors/fuel pump. Then there's guages, boost controller, exhaust fabrication (unless the kit comes with it). A few little things that add up...! It's a lot of fun though as I'm sure you know. I'm running standard brakes with 450 hp which are fine if you don't drive like a mental ;) I'm mainly interested in drag racing(once I get some better engine mounts!).

Im unsure how much it was done by dont even have receipt so likely bullshit tbh. Been looking at removing air con and getting a bigger/better rad, seen other driveshafts that are uprated cant mind if they're tegiwa or what but were about £180 a pair? Mounts I've been trying to find some decent ones worth the money same with torque mounts at the sides as mine are rotten. Water/oil pump slipped my mind will add that to the list ;) lol. Wouldnt mind uprating even just the fronts on the Jordan as they're pretty awful atm but probs just need bled.

Brakes again lol...if you want to upgrade to ek9 spec fronts, you can use mg zr 160 (?) discs with ek9 calipers as a slight upgrade to 282mm...food for thought.

As above...all the extra little things do add up. Maybe consider oil cooling in there as well :nice:

Yeah sorry keep going on about brakes without thinking haha got it sorted out on my list though will try ek9 calipers with mg fronts and either standard or ek9 rears. See how that set up does. Need to sort the mess of the chassis first new ball joints fitted on tuesday as they're noisy as hell and get the rest cleaned up new lca's etc. and coilovers etc etc. Then I'm between ordering it from racetech and fitting it with mates or going down for Ricky to do it as he'll be able to map it properly too, dunno if anywhere around here would be able to do it.

MG ZR 160 front and ek9 rears would be fine! best to remove aircon and get yourself a full length rad with a spal fan. drive shafts, maybe best to go with Mfactory ones. As for engine mounts you cant best the innovative ones, I have had a set on for 2 years now and they are perfect! :) good price too! yea best to renew oil and water pump with OEM and maybe a bigger fuel pump. all depends what your tuner suggests tho. good luck
