Turbo EK9

Cheers mate, yeah thinking the same. Don't really want to go out then come back on a tow truck :/
Anychance you could PM me with what internals you are using please mate?
Just so I can work out what I want to use :)

i am using Arias Pistons and Eagle H Beam rods, if you have a look on ebay alot of sellers sell piston and rod kits.

also i would recomend ACL or King engine bearings and ARP Head studs

any Q's PM me

Good advice, but do you ever really think your engine is indestructible, I think in the back of my mind any engine could blow up haha. Even fancy built engines go wrong too.

thats very true i guess, but hopefully if done right problems should be few and far between. also depends on how you drive it. if its on the limit all the time expect it to go wrong quicker.

as for what pistons/ rods im using:
Manley rod with arp rods (rated at 600BHP)
cp 9-1 pistons (500bhp)
arp head stud kit
bored to 81.5mm
also just look on a few of the turbo boys build threads. im sure there is info on them that might prove helpful

I have had good friends make almost 500whp on a stock 160,000 mile gsr engine. Any thing under 400whp you will be fine with stock internals. For 400-600 a piston/rod/studs combo is all thats really needed unless you want to go crazy and go sleeved like which I have.
