TSX big brake kit

Little review after more driving time.

My rear drum (I know I will upgrade soon) have been
adjusted, and now I can really tell the braking power is
awsome.

My brake balance is not good with the drum, I can feel
the front is too much for the back.

Next summer with rear disc and good pads, it should
really good.

As for the caliper, I guess rebuild or not, or whatever the brand
they still fit the TSX, that mean there are still good for the swap.
Mounting hole and pads fitting cant change.

Thanks for the input. Actually, I was asking about brands because I was concerned about the effectiveness of a rebuilt kit vs a low millage oem kit.:nice:

Have you notice any difference in your pedal? May be longer pedal travel?
Geez, I'm so after these calipers next year!

I think a rebuilt caliper should be as good as a oem used.

Pedal feel the same, except the fact that there is more
brake power.

I'm still using the stock master cylinder but it's a brand new one.

For now I don't see the need for a bigger one.

I will see after I get the rear conversion drum-disc.

Just a little info:

I came up with this setup a few years back, there is a little flaw for running on the street.

The TSX caliper bracket and caliper body were meant for a 28mm thick rotor. The corrado rotor is quite a bit thinner. If you run the pads down to their limit to where the spring-steel wear indicator is, the piston is now out farther than it should be, but the bigger issue is you run the risk of the pad getting SO think that it could actually fall off its track (the pad springs) and fall out of the bracket while driving. SO....keep an eye on your pad wear with this particular setup.
