trying to make a type r replica from an ek4.. need lots of help please

im after getting myself an ek4 with big spec to the engine but i dont like the appearance of it so ive decided to set myself a project to have it a type r look-alike.. hopefully you guys can help me with a few things..

Does anybody know when you remove the mid-spoiler on the ek4, does it leave a groove or dent just under the back window??
when i was checking it up it seemed to be marked from the spoiler..

anybody know where is the best place to buy all the TYPE-R stickers, badges etc.?

Will need 2x Red recaro's, Type R cluster and rear spoiler also.

Anyone with any info or ideas for me would be appreciated :thanks:
 
To be honest by the time you've brought the ek4 and all the type r bits ( which are not cheap ) you've spent quite a lot already, have you thought about buying the real thing type r ek9 :D
 
would love to but i reckon id still have to fork out a good few pound along with the car for an ek9.. its hard to sell an ek4 because noone seems to want them as they'd just buy an ek9 instead.. ve always wanted an ek9 but just cant afford it, was lucky to get the ek4 as i came across a fella who wanted the glanza i had so we did a swap..

started college this year so i was hopin to jut do a few bits to the ek4 whenever i had free cash but maybe your right and that i should keep sving for another few months and get the real deal, ek9 :D
 
dont turn it into a replica

it will be worth less as a replica than as a nice vti

ah i don lik the look of it at the minute tho..

dont like the double jap style spoiler.. wat ya reckon i should do with it??

an SiR replica would be nice

what colour is it?

put up pics and ill see if i can find a nice ek4 the same colour

theres enough donegal spec type R's going about

its nice the way it is

maybe a set of black 15 inch rota slips

type R headlights

facelift rear lights

take the sticker off the bonnet and sunband off the windscreen

job done i'd reckon

the dohcvtec stickers on each side, how do ya get them off??
