Thought i post this up as im impressed with my little Polo.
Just hit 150,000 miles which i think is pretty good for a little 1.0L that been ragged by me for the last 55,000 miles :p Just goes to show keep things serviced they can go on and on. Makes you think how long a Honda engine could last.

thats good going lol remember a work van i used to get to work had 280,000 on it and when i left it was used for another 2 years or so woulda been over 300,000 lol
 
Well a while back some1 posted up a honda civic up for sale lil cheap runner had an obseen amount of milage like 240000k started 1st time hardly any rust on arches :blabla:

A well looked after engine should keep going and going as long as theirs a h on the badge lol
 
Nice, looks like you're using the polo to hammer the miles on then? Perfect little car.
 
Ye is surprising how many miles you can get out of cars when looked after.
 
I just brought one tonight but its a jdm spec jap import!! Ac, all electrics, cd changer etc....!!
 
Yea imported in 2008 built 1996 got everything, aair con leccy windows vw cd changer, abs, airbags, central locking, full japanese and english history, 88k on clock, even got original vw handbook in japanese!! Will be for sale soon ��
 
someone must of imported one to japan and registered it or something because vw isnt japanese lol
 
No but it was sold brand new by a japanese vw dealership, even got the original pdi and handbook in japanese!?
