Trackday camera set up

Hi all

I'm thinking of mounting my iPhone to something suitable for trackday use since they have some useful apps. Does anyone use one or have a mount they can recommend?

I'm thinking of mounting on the rear c pillar brace or somewhere closer to the front.

If the iphone isnt good at all what others would you recommend?
 
I have this mount for my iPhone and it is very stable on every surface so is good for videos also fits my Tom Tom!

Sure they do a universal one but make sure it has the same sticky/suction mount.

Also the only problem with using iPhone for video is if you don't have power the battery will only last for about 20mins of constant filming.

I have an iphone5 which is slightly longer, is the top part extendable?
 
It's a perfect fit for the 4 but they may have made one for the 5.

Top does not extend. The 5 will fit in it as the top is on a sprung arm that would clip over the top when in place on the 4 but the 5 is also thinner so would rattle about.

Might be better off getting the universal one if they don't do one for the 5.
