tinny noise.. help

the other day i fitted a mugen 4-1 and 2.5in adjustable decat. car goes great now that its fitted although my exhaust note has become quite tinny between 2 and 3k. iv checked all head sheilds etc. has any1 else had the same problem? any help apreciated. my cat back is a spoon n1 if that helps

How close is the manifold to the sump?
