If your buying from a garage get them to do it as part of the deal. If not then when you get it you should do it straight away as its well overdue both in age and mileage

Should be done at 72k shouldn't it? but it's a 10 year old car, get it changed asap. I think Honda still do it for £200.

Thats cool, thanks guys, i think its been done at 51k seemingly, so it wont be needing changed right now?

I bought mine from a garage which got it from a UK owner. The history said it had been changed 2k miles before I bought it but for the sake of a few hundred squid I got it straight in the garage for timing belt & full service just to be safe!

My advice is get it changed again anyways, better to be on the safe side. At least you know its done then and you got some come back if anything does happen.

well said, well thats what im doing i believe mine was done 10k ago but im not risking it

Yeh this is true, maybe better just to get it done neway, wouldnt want something major going wrong incase i didnt!

don't forget about the tensioner....I'd change the water pump and consider the oil pump all at once too.

As said, if unds allow, it would be advisable to do so, especially if its a fresh import ;)
