Timing belt help

I have a b18c4 block at the moment with a type R head.But I am replacing this with a b18c6,I have just recently done the timing belt,But have since been told ill need to replace it again as the belt's are different?Due to short/long blocks?

Hey mate, No they should be the same length the part numbers are the same on lings website its only the b16a2 that has a shorter belt

DC2 waterpump 22 teeth,
B18c4,B16a all use 18 teeth water pump.
Thats the different.

I may stand corrected, but as is said Lings list it as the same belt.

So does that mean it will need a different belt or pump mate?
As i had just replaced both.
