thinking of swapping engine

hi guys recently bought my civic ek b16 its got a few miles 13000 ( just need some help on choosing new engine as the car is off the road at the minute due to work van given to me any ideas would be helpfull as im new to the scene and companys wich sell motors etc near the south west thanks nick attachment of my existing motor

What's your budget to start with? Cheaper options would be b16b, b18c or for a few extra quid a b20.

ive got a few quid in the savings but dont want to go crazy about to £1500 i would to spend roughly mate id like it to be reliable aswell im not sure how much motors are ive heard they can be expensive tho i could spend abit more all depends

I'm not sure about the rates over in the uk but I don't think those money could get you a proper swap. Have you considered about rebuilding your current engine? If done right could live another 130.000 miles.

You could get a b18 for that easily.
