Hi I'm new to the forum and I own a honda civic vti EK4 98 with some modifications, please excuse my English, writing from the Canary Islands (Spain), for a while I noticed that down hills with the car the temperature dropped pretty, I decided to change the thermostat and the thing was still the same, what can be? I put the thermostat is the original and perhaps this broken and I'm thinking about changing it again, hope you can help and a pleasure to be in this forum.
GREETINGS AND THANKS

could there be air in your cooling system? Try running the car at full temperature with the front of the car raised up with the radiator cap off, this will force any air in the system to the highest point which is the top of the radiator.

You should see some bubbles coming out hopefully :nice:

Thank you very much for responding, the only problem I have is that it never cooled has warmed me I'll do what you are saying.
