The throw is OEM length - but your hand doesnt have to travel as far (15cm less)

If you dont have a short shifter already then yes definitely
But if you do then i really like the extensions and for the price

OEM Type R Shift throw? Or would it be the same throw as the stock shifter in my EK4?

In our DC2 Type R the throw was the same
Might be worth asking RichieB on CL
Then again he upgraded from a DC Sports Shifter
