Item for sale: Techno Pro Spirit ECU (EK9 Pre-facelift definately, maybe other vehicles also, with conversion harnesses etc)
Price: £220 delivered.

Condition: Used, but perfect working order, and in VGC.
Description:
I have for sale a Techno Pro Spirit ECU to fit the EK9 Pre-facelift (may fit others, i can't say for sure as i havent tried).
The ecu lowers the vtec point to 5000rpm, the switchover is very mild and then the cams build up and are on full chatt before 6000rpm (stock ecu the switchover is at 6k, so this is on the power before then), and when they do come on they feel considerably more aggressive than with the stock ecu. the car also gets almost a 'second wind' further up the rev range, which again i assume to be down to the mapping.
The ecu is mapped for an aftermarket manifold, decat and intake (mugen items originally, could use any manufacturer though).
The mpg of the car off vtec is noticably improved, and the car runs lovely and idles very smoothly. rev limit is in the region of 9.2k (i didnt regularly take it up there though for obvious reasons, it is certainly higher than stock however).
it is obviously a plug and play item, simply replaces the stock ecu. it removes the speed limiter (@ 112mph), and i assume was a custom map for the car it was on originally. there's not many of these about so that would make sense really.
It was bought as an unknown unit, however the performance was proved against other standard ek9's. It changed the car considerably, improved fuelling and improved the running of the car in general. I was very impressed with it, however as i've now sold the car, i have no need for it. It is now a confirmed fully functional unit, that makes a fabulous upgrade to even standard ek9's, however i would advise matching the mods that it's been mapped for.
