Hi,

I'm having my engine swapped end of this month. B18C-R into my Ek9.
Next is the suspension.

I have read alot about different coilovers and several other components that help making the car a better drive.

What i like to know is which coilovers and components make a very good streetcar. As i was a engine noob before i read tons of info on it, i am now a noob as it comes to suspension.

For coilovers i was thinking Cusco Zero2 or HKS hypermax. I dont realy know which spring rates. Roads are pretty good with an occasional bump.

I would realy like to replace every moving part underneath the car that has to do with suspension and wears with the years...

What am i looking for? Every tip is much appreciated..

One thing to remember Ivo. The stock suspension is seriously under-rated. Its a great system as standard. Very well set-up. And unless your intending to drive mostly on tracks or change wheel size/lower the car then you'll compromising ride quality and handling for daily use.

He Will,

Unbelievable... Again i thought not to bother you.. And there you are again...'
How are you doing mate!
I hoped this was one of the answers. The main thing i dont like is corner handling. It is kind of nervous in the rear when taking a corner quite hard... I would also like to lower it a bit...

Then again, i have time enough to read myself into everything. First i have to save a certain amount of money for a certain piece of engine work :)

Are ther things that can be done so cornering gets better?

Ivo

Im good thanks! for the rear you have to stay commited with the throttle! Keep the weight on the rear wheels.

My best advice is take the car to a track and get an instructor for the day.
..But dont go with the stickiest tyres. Go for somthing in between, not cheap but not a semi slick. Then the car will break away more progressively and you will get a better feel for its handling characteristics. and so will be able to 'throw it around' with more confidence. :nice: THen decide how the suspension can be improved. You need to push the cars wit stock suspension before makign a final descision. :woot:

:-(

I am a bit sad now... This means my driving is bad :)
But as always ill follow your advise.
Thanks mate!
