recurring issue? sorted it once and lasted for months but no luck this time, any ideas?

New calipers or recon.

Very common problem for almost all honda's.

You can try and strip them down and refirb them but for the time, effort and cost of a kit may aswell buy a recon one.

Brakes International, try these guys. I sent both the rear callipers off the missus EK4 to them in exchange for recon ones, they are rebuilt with all new seals and new look, can't remember the exact price, maybe £59? you pay them full price, and when they receive your old ones back they refund you the difference. These were Nissin castings as well so OEM. In the past i have allways re-built mine with the Honda seal kit (£26) and took the opurtunity to powder coat them too. Last time round i replaced the pistons in both, they cost £22. For the cost i probably could've got replacemants.

I suppose you could look at people on here breaking civic's

Do you know where they are sticking? Have you tried taking out the slide pins and greasing them with something? I use the silver anti-seize.

If it's the caliper itself, trade them in for rebuilt ones. In the US any auto parts store will let you buy some recon's with your cores traded in.
