I have noticed a metallic noise as I am driving along. I don't know that much about cars but to me it sounds like it could be coming from the brakes. Could it be a sticking caliper do you think?

Can you explain more? it might be a worn out bushing, or a worn out motor mount ?

It sounds like a rotating metallic sound. It sounds like it's coming from the rear.

do you rear brakes get hot after a short light drive?

No, I don't think they do. Is there a metal strip on the brake pads, a mechanic just told me it could be that the brake pads are worn down and, the metal strip is rubbing against the disc?

I have checked the brake pads and they have plenty of life left in them. I was wondering what else it could be?
