Well lads I have had some steering wheel wobble under heavy braking this last while now, the higher the braking speed the worse it is.
But was doing a service on the car yesterday and while the front wheels were off the ground I went to spin them to see if they were catching anywhere, but they were very very stiff to move. You had to put a good bit of effort into move them and if you tried to spin them with your hand as soon as your hand left the wheel it would stop immediately. I know brakes will have a small resistance on the wheel but this is alot more than normal. So I am guessing the wobbly wheel under brakes is caused by a wheel bearing(s) as opposed to warped rotors.
Also the high resistance from the brakes is on both sides on the front. Also when moving the wheels in the air there was no noticeable free areas on the spin to indicate a disc warpage.
Also the brakes are 10 months old and were an upgrade to prelude disc and calliper. The disc was redrilled to a 4x100 fitment if this makes any difference
